Quietly scribbling away in some dark corner of internet : recording the banal and boring and meaningless act of resistance, that is, living this life.

  1. Hi Alok,

... I would look at it the other way.. death and not life, as a resistance... truncating life that quietly flows on...
Anyways good to see ur blogs again, though not as regularly as I should like to see them.

    regards

  2. One can consider suicide as an act of resistance and still arrive at a fundamental affirmation of life and faith in human redemption in the face of existential crisis.

"Madness and death are his irreparables. Man does not choose. … The present and the succession of presents before a constantly conscious soul is the ideal of the absurd man. … I transform into a rule of life what was an invitation to death – and I refuse suicide."
Albert Camus, The Myth of Sisyphus and Other Essays

What I like about your post is these three lines are an absurd act of resistance by itself in the face of overwhelming odds, the information deluge.

What choice do you have? None. Hence, an endless succession of three lines should continuously flow from your pen. This is your act of resistance...
